FLY is beginning a new ministry as a spinoff of the UMC IMPACT Day held on June 5. We are calling it "RAK" which stands for "Random Acts of Kindness." On a regular basis FLY will come together to go into the community to help others. It may be something as simple as handing out free bottles of water to shoppers in Mooresville, helping someone with yard work, delivering goodies to our shut-ins, packing meals for The Corner Table, etc...our options are endless. |
Our first "RAK" will be held on Wednesday, July 21. We will meet at the church at 10:00am and return by 2:00pm. Bring $5 with you to buy lunch. Details have not been decided yet. Send Benjamin an e-mail or text if you have a suggestions of what we should do during our first RAK. |

We'll be going to Carowinds on Wednesday, July 28 at 9:30am. Cost is $40 per person. Also plan to pack a bag lunch, drinks will be provided. Feel free to bring a friend along as well.
Let Benjamin know if you plan to go by Sunday, July 25 so that we have adequate transportation for everyone.
